Between fire and ice

Opposites attract – in my favorite works, warmth and cold, light and shadow collide. Between deep blue and glowing red, surreal worlds emerge, in which expressive portraits, animals, and strong contrasts play the main role.

 

The works convey strong emotions that fluctuate between stillness and change. The deep blue represents calm, sometimes almost melancholic, like fragile ice. In contrast, the vibrant red ignites the inner fire, while strong lines express passion.
