For approx. 500 ml homemade mane spray for horses, you’ll need:

5–10 drops rosemary oil | promotes growth, gently clarifying |
Mane spray basic recipe - step by step
Pour 500 ml boiling water over the dried birch leaves.
Let it steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain and allow to cool.
Mix the essential oils with the argan oil.
Combine the oil mixture with 450 ml of cooled birch infusion.
Pour into a clean spray bottle.
Spray onto the mane and tail from around 30 cm away.
Shake well before each use!

Mane spray for sensitive horses
Some horses are more prone to irritation – here’s a gentler version:
Use 450 ml chamomile tea instead of birch infusion.
Mix 1/2 tsp argan oil with 5–7 drops lavender oil.
Leave out the rosemary oil.
Always do a patch test first!
Storage and expiration
Store the mane spray for horses in a cool, light-protected and airtight place, ideally in the refrigerator. If stored correctly, the spray will keep for 7–10 days. After that it loses its effectiveness and freshness, then simply reapply.
Application and instructions
Do not spray the mane spray on mucous membranes, eyes or open wounds. Always test first in case of intolerance or sensitive skin. Do not use on foals or pregnant mares.
